All Astria lawyers are appointed by the Danish Ministry of Justice and are members of the Danish Bar and Law Society (Advokatsamfundet) and the Association of Danish Law Firms (Danske Advokater).

All Danish solicitors are subject to the provisions of the Danish Administration of Justice Act (retsplejeloven) with regard (inter alia) to proper practice of the legal profession. The council of the Danish Bar and Law Society monitors compliance with its Code of Conduct and has drawn up a set of ethical rules for solicitors and lawyers, stipulating requirements for conduct and ethics. Astria Advokater has client bank accounts with Spar Nord Bank and Danske Bank, and unless otherwise stated, entrusted funds will be deposited in these accounts.

IAG

ASTRIA Advokater is a member of IAG Global.

IAG is an association of independent, professional law firms and accountants around the world. IAG was founded in 1989 by nine law firms in west Europe. Its network is expanding continuously, and today IAG has 65 members.

IAG normally holds three member meetings a year, at which ASTRIA Advokater has been able to meet and keep in touch with a number of lawyers abroad.

Attorney Iben Lindhardt Olsson has served on the board of directors of IAG for seven years, two of these as chairman.
